Just a single day after its parent series was renewed, Station 19 has secured its own place on ABC's schedule next season. The firefighter drama has been a solid performer for ABC throughout its five seasons, and has drawn just about the same ratings as Grey's Anatomy this season, averaging 0.63 in the 18-49 demo, compared to the 0.64 for Grey's, with Station 19 boasting a higher total viewership figure than Grey's (4.56 million vs. 4.19 million for Grey's). Station 19 stars Jaina Lee Ortiz, Boris Kodjoe, Jason George, Grey Damon, Barrett Doss, and Danielle Savre, among others. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide, which had labeled the show as the safest bet to return among ABC's crop of shows.
