FRED
Alright Ruthie, I’m excited to see what you have in store.
RUTHIE
Alright, I have a design I really love.
CHRISTINA
Is it something we’ll really love?
RUTHIE
How should I know, I’m not you.
RUTHIE starts a presentation. Everyone sees bright red projected on the presentation screen.
GREGORY
Whoa, that’s bright.
RUTHIE
When you see the color red, what do you think of?
GREGORY
Brightness.
RUTHIE
Seriously? You think of something when you see a color?
GREGORY
I’m thinking of it now.
RUTHIE
What if I told you that’s the color of the AGRUS. That’s right, I got the name right.
CHRISTINA
What else is on the design?
RUTHIE
What do you mean?
CHRISTINA
Exactly what I said, surely you have more than just the color red…right?
RUTHIE
Nope. That’s it. Just a red wrapper. A really, really bright red wrapper.
CHRISTINA
Can’t you think of something else to put on it? Maybe some squiggly lines?
RUTHIE
I could put my baby picture on it and we can call it a Baby Ruthie.
CHRISTINA
No thanks.
FRED
Ruthie, you must have spent…time thinking of this.
RUTHIE
It actually didn’t take me long at all.
FRED
Just out of curiosity, do you have any other designs?
KEVIN
Fred, don’t be wishy-washy. A poor design could cost SugarCity tons of money. Ruthie, we need a better design.
RUTHIE
I do have one other idea…
RUTHIE shares her other idea on the screen.
FRED
Whoa! No way! What were you thinking?!
KEVIN
Now THAT’S a money-loser!
RUTHIE
See? That bright red doesn’t look so bad now, does it?
CHRISTINA claps.
CHRISTINA
Gotta hand it to you Ruthie. Well played. Bright red gets my vote.
FRED
Bright red it is. This is coming together well.
GREGORY
I’ll send over the design to the folks at the factory.
FRED
