Ratings Analysis: ABC was on the rise throughout the night as 'The Goldbergs' (0.67, +0.08), 'The Wonder Years' (0.50, +0.06), 'The Conners' (0.56, +0.10), 'Home Economics' (0.38, +0.09), and 'The Chase' (0.33, +0.06) all grew by six-hundredths or more from their week-ago returns. In a similar vein, 'I Can See Your Voice' (0.47, +0.09) and 'Next Level Chef' (0.53, +0.07) improved significantly from their tepid starts on Fox. CBS was unable to match that trend as reality staple 'The Amazing Race' (0.49, -0.20) lost two-tenths from its solid premiere and fell behind its 'Price Is Right At Night' lead-in (0.61). At 10, drama 'Good Sam' (0.23, -0.08) dropped by eight-hundredths from a debut that was already lifeless. NBC's 'Chicago Med' (0.81, +0.06) gained six-hundredths and was able to top the evening altogether. At 9, 'Chicago Fire' (0.85, -0.01) shed a hundredth while 'Chicago PD' (0.73) held steady in the 10PM timeslot. The CW's 'Legends of Tomorrow' (0.11, +0.04) climbed to a season high for its first 2022 episode but 'Batwoman' (0.08, -0.01) ticked down at 9.
