Saturday TV Ratings 1/8/22: NFL Dominates, Whose Line Is It Anyway? Tops Joe Millionaire Repeat in Viewers (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: ABC took complete control of Saturday night as 'NFL Kickoff' (2.70) and the 'Cowboys v. Eagles' football game (3.19) went at least 900% above their nearest competitors. NBC had middling repeats of 'That's My Jam' (0.25), 'Dateline' (0.25), and 'SNL Vintage' (0.24). On CBS, '48 Hours' (0.27, -0.03) lost three-hundredths and led out of anemic encores of 'Good Sam' (0.16) and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.18). Fox was a step below that with reruns of 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer' (0.14) and 'Next Level Chef' (0.16). The CW churned out more episodes of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.09) and 'World's Funniest Animals' (0.06), with reruns of the two (0.08/0.06) occupying the back-half of their respective hours.

Finals Update: 'NFL: Cowboys v. Eagles' (+0.6), '48 Hours' (+0.1) and repeats of 'Good Sam' (+0.1), 'That's My Jam' (+0.1), 'Dateline NBC' (+0.1), and 'Next Level Chef' (+0.1) adjusted up.
