Preliminary Analysis: After rising last week, NBC's 'Young Rock' (0.5) inched back down to its series low. That seemed to be the least of the peacock network's worries since 'Kenan' dropped to an atrocious 0.3 rating right after, marking its weakest performance yet. The small silver lining came in the 10pm hour with drama 'New Amsterdam' (0.4), the latter held even despite its 'This Is Us' lead-in (0.3) going into repeat-mode. ABC's night wasn't much better, with 'Big Sky' (0.4) falling to yet another new low at 10. 'Pooch Perfect' (0.4) and 'Mixed-ish' (0.3) were steady, but 'Black-ish' (0.4) was able to gain a tenth in the 9pm slot. One week after their returns, Fox dramas 'The Resident' (0.5) and 'Prodigal Son' (0.4) remained unchanged. CBS took the night off in a last-minute decision, choosing to air repeats of 'NCIS' (0.5) and 'FBI' (0.5) due to President Biden's speech on the Derek Chauvin conviction. A CBS News report on the verdict (0.3) occupied the 10pm slot. Leading out of an encore of 'The Flash' (0.1), The CW's 'Supergirl' (0.1) inched down.
Finals Update: Kenan (+0.1) and New Amsterdam (+0.1) adjusted up.
