Saturday TV Ratings 4/3/21: The Ten Commandments Down from 2020, NCAA Final Four Game Huge, SNL Jumps (UPDATED)


Preliminary Analysis: CBS won the night with their broadcast of the 'Gonzaga v. UCLA' NCAA tournament (2.5) beating out the combined total of every other 8-10 program. ABC came in second with their annual showing of 'The Ten Commandments' (0.4), with the 64-year old film losing two-tenths from its 2020 telecast (0.6). NBC aired an encore presentation of the 'Law & Order: SVU' (0.2) and 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' (0.3) crossover. 'SNL Vintage' (0.3) fully retained its lead-in at 10. Fox had reruns of their Wednesday lineup, 'The Masked Singer' (0.2) and 'Game of Talents' (0.2).

Finals Update: 'NCAA Tournament: Gonzaga v. UCLA' (+1.2) and 'The Ten Commandments' (+0.1) adjusted up. The repeat of 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' (-0.1) adjusted down. The original 'Saturday Night Live' episode with host Daniel Kaluuya and musical guest St. Vincent scored a 1.16 A18-49 rating, up two-tenths from the week-ago installment (0.96).
