Kung Fu: This week, The CW debuted their newest series, Kung Fu. The action drama didn't match the debuts of Walker or Superman & Lois, but its 0.22 premiere is still a solid launch for The CW at this point. It's quite a bit higher than the premiere of Katy Keene, the only series that The CW has canceled in the past few seasons. It has room to fall before it would even be considered a below-average performer for The CW. Considering that the network renewed Nancy Drew and Dynasty (their lowest-rated series that have both dipped below a 0.10), I find it hard to imagine them canceling Kung Fu. Not only is the show one of the rare series led by an Asian American cast, it's also very different from any other show on the network, and The CW has always prided itself on having a diverse array of shows on the lineup. The show looks safe at this point, though a large drop in coming weeks could put it in some mild danger, so it starts as a LIKELY RENEWAL.
Superman & Lois: Since our last update, The CW renewed Superman & Lois for a second season. The decision was widely expected and is a correct prediction.
