Saturday TV Ratings 4/17/21: NBA Leads, 48 Hours Slips (UPDATED)


Preliminary Analysis: It may have only posted a 0.4 rating but the 'Warriors v. Celtics' NBA game was strong enough to beat out all other telecasts. An 'NBA Countdown' special (0.3) topped the 8pm hour as well. CBS had 0.2s across the board with repeats of 'NCIS: Los Angeles', 'NCIS: New Orleans', and a lower-end '48 Hours'. NBC had encores of 'Law & Order: SVU' (0.2) and 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' (0.2). 'SNL Vintage' (0.3) grew from the repeats at 10. Fox was a tier below the others with a meager broadcast of 'PBC Boxing' (0.1).

Finals Update: The 'Warriors v. Celtics' NBA game (0.6, +0.2), '48 Hours' (0.3, +0.1), and 'PBC Boxing' (0.2, +0.1) adjusted up. 'NBA Countdown' (0.2, -0.1) adjusted down.
