TV Ratings 9/4/17: CBS Fall Preview Solid, Midnight and Paradise Dip (UPDATED)

Labor Day took a toll on some shows last night, but many were steady and CBS even managed to be up. CBS aired a repeat of The Big Bang Theory to kick off the night. TBBT had a weak result, but it was still a big improvement on what Kevin Can Wait usually does in the slot. The network also aired their Fall Preview, which pulled in some decent ratings well above what Superior Donuts typically does. Mom and the other repeats were unaffected by the higher numbers at 8, all even with last week's numbers. Bachelor in Paradise took a big hit, down four tenths from last week's really impressive 1.7 to a still-impressive 1.3. The show led into a 0.7 for a repeat of To Tell the Truth. NBC's long-running reality hit (no, not that one) American Ninja Warrior was unaffected by the Labor Day holiday, posting what is arguably its best result of the entire season. Behind it was Midnight, Texas, which was on the downtick to a meh 0.7. On Fox, SYTYCD was down two tenths to a brand new season low. The CW had two repeats at 0.2, not that the numbers would have been any different had Hooten & the Lady not been a repeat.
Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary numbers.
