Young Sheldon, Monday at 8:30 on CBS
The earliest premiere of the night is Young Sheldon, the spinoff of the Big Bang Theory. For some reason, the show is debuting on Monday, instead of waiting a month until it could air in its actually Thursday slot. The series will air once in the slot before apartment sitcom 9JKL moves into the slot next week. How do you think Young Sheldon will do in its one-time-only Monday airing?
Me, Myself, & I, Mondays at 9:30 on CBS
The second sitcom to premiere this season is Bobby Moynihan's Me, Myself, & I. It's a single camera that will air in a multi camera comedy block, and it's not very compatible with the rest of the block. However, that doesn't mean that the show is cursed. Do you think it can live on or is "Me, Myself, & Die" a more accurate title?
The Good Doctor, Mondays at 10 on ABC
The first of the 10PM drama launches, The Good Doctor is by far the buzzier of the two. Starring Freddie Highmore, the show is a medical that has been tracking very well on social media. That doesn't mean it's going to do well, but having buzz definitely helps. Will the Good Doctor revive ABC's Monday at 10 slot or will it flatline like Conviction?
The Brave, Mondays at 10 on NBC
The other 10 PM drama debut is The Brave, which is far less buzzy than the Good Doctor. Unlike the Good Doctor, The Brave will very likely have a 2.0+ lead-in from the Voice, which should help it o pretty well. 2016-17's Timeless and Taken both did very meh numbers in this slot last year. Can the Brave do better than them, or will it be a rare post-Voice drama that completely flops?
