Modern Family Renewed by ABC for 9th and 10th Seasons

ABC has renewed its hit comedy Modern Family for a ninth and tenth season. A ratings hit and Emmy-winning series, Modern Family's renewal took longer than it normally would have due to the actors' contracts being up this year and having to be renegotiated. But due to its value to ABC and 20th Century FOX, things have been worked out, and Modern Family will return.
