Grey's Anatomy Spin-Off Ordered Straight to Series by ABC

Grey's Anatomy is getting another spinoff. A decade after Private Practice hit the airwaves and 5 years after its series finale, there will be a new Grey's Anatomy spinoff on ABC. This spinoff has been ordered straight to series and will focus on firefighters. The series was announced at ABC's Upfronts by president Channing Dungey, and is set to premiere in midseason 2018. It joins the never-ending roster of Shondaland shows, alongside parent series Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Still Star-Crossed, How To Get Away With Murder, and For the People.
