Wednesday TV Ratings 4/22/20: Survivor, Goldbergs, Masked Singer and Millionaire Drop, SEAL Team and SWAT Rise, After the Mask Solid (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: ABC's comedy lineup continued to saunter to the finish line without the help of 'Modern Family'. 'The Goldbergs' (0.8) and spinoff 'Schooled' (0.6) each lost a tenth in the 8pm hour but weaker 'American Housewife' (0.6) and 'Single Parents' (0.5) admirably held steady. At 10, the third episode of 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' (0.5) inched down from last week, now at less than half of the rating it posted for its premiere (1.1) a mere two weeks ago.

On Fox, 'The Masked Singer' (2.1) remained the centerpiece of the night. The powerhouse was up several ticks from its week-ago sing-along special but even with its last original episode. It led into a Masked Singer aftershow (1.4) which was remarkably stronger than any other series that has aired after the juggernaut, sans the debut rating of 'Lego Masters' (1.5). 'Survivor' (1.5) lost a tenth on CBS but struggling dramas 'S.W.A.T.' (0.7) and 'SEAL Team' (0.6) both rose a notch from their previous showings. After wrapping up their seasons last week, NBC had encores of their Chicago lineup (0.6/0.6/0.5). The CW had a special on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (0.1) but its ratings were far from royal.

Finals Update: The Masked Singer (+0.1) adjusted up. SEAL Team (-0.1) adjusted down.
