Just over a week since its finale, Fox has announced that they've canceled midseason drama Deputy after a single thirteen-episode season. Stephen Dorff starred in the series, a modern-day Western about an acting sheriff in Los Angeles. The show wasn't a terrible performer for Fox with a 0.58 average, but that simply wasn't enough. It was consistently beaten in its timeslot by ABC's Grey's Anatomy and CBS's Mom, and ended its season with a quiet 0.5 after a 0.76 premiere. Its series low was a 0.46. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
