As television ratings continue to benefit from the Covid-19 shutdown, four of the five networks decided to broadcast the 'One World: Together At Home' concert. NBC's showing (1.0) led the pack, posting the first 1.0+ rating on a Saturday night (for a non-sports telecast) in a very long time. Close behind it was ABC (0.9) and CBS (0.7), with the CW (0.1) in an incredibly distant last place.
After the concert finished at 10, the networks still boasted above-average numbers for a Saturday evening. NBC had a solid 'SNL Vintage' (0.6), which matched the performance of Thursday comedies 'Brooklyn 99' and 'Will & Grace'. ABC's encore of the 'The Baker and Beauty' (0.5) pilot actually tied the rating it posted for its Monday premiere. And CBS got decent mileage out of '48 Hours' (0.5) following its broadcast.
Like a rebellious teenager going against pesky social norms, Fox decided not to air the concert, settling for repeats of hit drama '9-1-1' (0.2) and Gordon Ramsey program '24 Hours To Hell and Back' (0.3). Neither could hold a candle to the ratings of CBS, NBC, or ABC.
