Before we get started this week, it is important to note a change in the above table. Shows that are now underlined (NCIS, for example) have completed their episode orders and are locked in at that spot for the remainder of the season. I feel confident enough with these predictions and have enough data that its unlikely anything else could influence a shift.

Since our last update, CBS announced the cancellation of God Friended Me after two seasons. The move was not entirely unexpected, given its rather disastrous performance this past year. God Friended Me was a Toss-Up in the first two editions of CBS Renew/Cancel, before dropping to Likely to be Cancelled in the third update. It has remained there ever since, making this a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.

Now for some better news on the CBS front!

After a fairly weak freshman season, Magnum P.I. has emerged as one of the stronger performers on Friday nights. With Hawaii Five-0 completed, Magnum P.I. slid into the timeslot with ease and looks like the perfect fit with the rest of the CBS Friday night lineup. This past week saw the show adjust up in finals to a rounded .8, helping push Blue Bloods to a new season high too. The year to year comparisons for recent episodes is UP, which is impressive in this television landscape. No doubt Magnum P.I. will be back next season and it is now Certain to be Renewed.

The other show to jump into more positive territory is Monday night veteran, Bull. Nothing has changed all that much since the last update, but its clear Bull is not going anywhere just yet. Now in its fourth season, Bull is down only 17% year-to-year and the last three episodes had a nice trend: .72 (season high) -> .67 -> .67. That's enough reason to move Bull up to Certain to be Renewed.

Here's what we're watching:
Keep an eye on All Rise and Tommy in the next two weeks. All Rise seems to be heating up at the right time, and its special Zoom episode will air next Monday (the 4th). As for Tommy, it appears to be falling back a bit to its premiere levels. Both remain a Toss-Up, but there could be some changes for them in the next two weeks.
