Fox has announced what is sure to be a massive live TV event that will air on the network later this month. In celebration of Earth Day, the breakout star of The Masked Singer's second season will host a live telethon variety programming. Titled
Treelieve in Mother Earth, the program will feature Ana Gasteyer returning to her iconic role as the Tree, and will feature her performing various songs, acting in a skit, and talking about the importance of efforts to combat climate change. Also appearing alongside Gasteyer's Tree will be her co-stars from SNL, Molly Shannon, Cheri Oteri and Rachel Dratch, as well as fellow Masked Singers including Chris Daughtry (as the Rottweiler), Patti Labelle (as the Flower), Tommy Chong (as the Pineapple), Bella Thorne (as the Swan), Tom Bergeron (as the Taco), and Gladys Knight (delivering a PSA about saving the bees, in character as the Bee). The two-hour special will air on Earth Day, April 22, in place of The Masked Singer and LEGO Masters.
