9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star Renewed by Fox

Fox's budding emergency workers franchise has been renewed in full today, with both third-season drama 9-1-1 and freshman spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star receiving orders for additional seasons today. Both shows have been strong performers for Fox, with 9-1-1 being the #2 scripted program on all of broadcast and 9-1-1 Lone Star easily rating as the top new scripted show (a full three and a half tenths ahead of runner-up Bless the Harts). Both shows are created and produced by Ryan Murphy, alongside frequent Murphy collaborators Tim Minear and Brad Falchuk. Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Oliver Stark and Jennifer Love Hewitt headline the cast of 9-1-1, while 9-1-1: Lone Star's cast includes Rob Lowe, Liv Tyler, and Sierra McClain. Lone Star was previously unofficially renewed in a voiceover at the end of the season finale, but was not officially confirmed until today. Both are correct predictions for The TV Ratings Guide.
