Preliminary Analysis: ABC's 'American Idol' (1.0) remained Sunday's top program despite being down two ticks from its last original (1.2). It was a new season low for the singing-competition series but it had already fallen to this level before in spring 2019. Lead-out drama 'The Rookie' (0.7) inched up a notch but a 7pm Disney sing-along encore (0.6) was substantially weaker than a usual 'AFV' broadcast. 'God Friended Me' (0.6/0.5) aired its final two episodes on CBS, roughly in-line with its usual performance. It was surrounded by steady showings of '60 Minutes' (0.9) and 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.6). Fox was even across the board with 'The Simpsons' (0.5), 'Duncanville' (0.4), 'Bob's Burgers' (0.5), and 'Family Guy' (0.6). While the cartoons were steady, everything but 'Family Guy' matched its series low. NBC's lineup got a little worse as 'Little Big Shots' (0.3), 'The Wall' (0.4), 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist' (0.3), and 'Good Girls' (0.3) all lost a precious tenth. 'Big Shots' and 'Zoey' tied their previous lows while 'The Wall' and 'Good Girls' cemented fresh new ones. The CW's 'Batwoman' (0.2) was steady in its return, not far off from NBC's numbers. It led into a 'Supergirl' repeat (0.1).
