The TV Ratings Guide’s Daily News Roundup

A lot of news has been happening in the world of TV today, so we’ve decided to give you a quick recap here!

-FOX orders 9-1-1: Work It to series. It keeps with their tradition of taking titles of flop shows and using them as spinoffs for 9-1-1. This one features men who cross-dress because they can’t find any other way to become firefighters. It comes complete with a laugh track, despite being a drama.

-ABC has given a straight to series order to a raunchy new spinoff of Station 19. The intimate version of the Grey’s spinoff is titled Station 69, and is exactly what you think it is.

-The CW is reportedly reassessing their campaign for 4th place right now. Should they take themselves out of consideration, it is rumored they will endorse ABC.

-CBS has put a new Dick Wolf series into development, called Chicago FBI: Criminal Intent. It is a combination of Wolf’s three currently-airing franchises. Rumor has it that should it be ordered, it would go in the highly coveted post-God Friended Me time slot.

-FOX has filed a lawsuit against all other networks and streaming services for various offenses, using it as its new strategy to continue to make money.

-Seinfeld and Friends are in talks to be revived by a mystery network, and would use the fake sets that tourists can visit to film.

-NBC has renewed New Amsterdam for a third season, apparently forgetting they already renewed it for a third, fourth, and fifth.

-The CW has announced that they now have the rights to air popular Netflix shows such as The Flash and Riverdale. This is similar to what TV Land is doing with Netflix’s hit comedy Schitt’s Creek.

-Sony is launching their own streaming service. It is named Crackle, and totally didn’t already exist. It will feature shows such as the Jason Alexander-led Comedians At Home Making Coffee, But They Ran Out Of Coffee Beans So They Just Got Water Instead
