CBS also had positive news in the form of the series premiere of new comedy 'Broke' (0.9). Airing at 9:30, it lost just a tenth from its 'Mom' (1.0) lead-in, the latter rising to a season high. At 8, the return of 'Young Sheldon' (1.3) managed a new high as well but the fourth season debut of 'Man with a Plan' (0.9) settled at more mediocre levels. Meanwhile, 10pm drama 'Tommy' (0.6) inched up to a new series high.
Nielsen was a lot less kind to the other 3 networks as NBC's 'Superstore' (0.7) and 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' (0.5) shed two-tenths and a tenth respectively, likely hurt by the added comedy competition from CBS. Things were even more anemic in the 9pm hour as comedy dud 'Indebted' (0.3) merely matched its 'Will & Grace' repeat lead-in (0.3). The negative momentum continued on to the 10pm hour as 'Law & Order: SVU' (0.6) dropped a tick to match its season low.
Fox's 'Last Man Standing' (0.7) lost a tenth in the lead-off position and led into repeats of itself (0.5) and Rob Lowe's 'Mental Samurai' (0.5). Those encores were roughly in-line with how original episodes of 'Outmatched' and 'Deputy' would perform in the same slots.
The CW remained in repeat mode with 'Katy Keene' (0.1) and 'Legacies' (0.1). The 'Legacies' repeat was at a 0.0 in preliminary ratings but rose a tenth after finals to avoid that abhorrent data point.

Finals Update: The repeat of Legacies (+0.1) adjusted up. The repeat of Last Man Standing (-0.1) adjusted down.
