God may have friended the lead of CBS's God Friended Me, but CBS ended him. The network has decided to cancel the comedy-drama series after two seasons. The show was an OK performer for CBS in season one, but it tanked nearly 30% this season and sunk as low as 0.4, averaging a 0.66 thanks to airing frequently on nights with an NFL lead-in. The show is produced by CBS alongside Warner Brothers, who have the distribution rights, which may have been a factor in its demise. God Friended Me is the fourth drama on CBS to exit this season, after Criminal Minds and Madam Secretary wrapped pre-announced final seasons and Hawaii Five-0 was canceled mid-season. Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Joe Morton and Surah Sharma starred in the series, which will air its series finale on April 26. Below are the ratings for Season 2 of God Friended Me:
