Wednesday TV Ratings 3/24/21: The Goldbergs and American Housewife Return Steady as The Conners Takes a Hit, The Masked Singer Also Down, SWAT and SEAL Team Rise from Tough as Nails (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: ABC's comedy block returned with little fanfare, boasting some stability and a too much slippage. 'The Goldbergs' (0.6) and the penultimate 'American Housewife' (0.5) held even, with 'Goldbergs' airing its first episode since the passing of cast member George Segal. Things only got worse from there as 'The Conners' (0.5), 'Call Your Mother' (0.3), and true-crime series 'The Con' (0.2) all lost a tenth. On Fox, 'The Masked Singer' (1.1) gave back a tenth but will likely pick up an upward adjustment. At 9, 'Game of Talents' (0.7) matched its premiere rating once more for its third episode. 'Tough of Nails' (0.4) ticked down on CBS, but 'SEAL Team' (0.5) and 'SWAT' (0.5) inched up at 9 and 10 respectively. The two dramas likely benefited from reduced competition as NBC's 'One Chicago' lineup (0.4/0.3/0.3) remained in repeat-mode. 'Riverdale' (0.2) rose by a tenth while 'Nancy Drew' (0.1) was flat on the CW.
