Hit show The Simpsons has secured another two seasons on Fox, extending the iconic show's run to at least 34 seasons. The animated sitcom will surpass 700 episodes in its current season, and will near 750 episodes by the end of season 34. The Simpsons premiere in 1989 as an offshoot of The Tracey Ullman Show, having originated there as a series of animated bits. It has been a stable of Fox's Sunday night lineup, leading off the night at 8 PM since its sixth season. The Simpsons stars the voices of Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Harry Shearer, Hank Azaria, Pamela Hayden and Tress MacNeille.
