Tuesday TV Ratings 7/7/20: What Would You Do? Returns Solidly, Stargirl Steady After Renewal, America’s Got Talent Repeat Leads (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: After eleven months off the air, ABC's 'What Would You Do?' (0.4) returned to television in semi-decent fashion in the 10pm slot. That number alone doesn't look particularly strong until put into perspective. It grew two-tenths from a miserably low 'Blackish' repeat (0.2) and was just a tenth below its previous season premiere (0.5) (8/9/19). The alphabet network started the night with an encore presentation of 'Live In Front of a Studio Audience' (0.4).

NBC's 'America's Got Talent' (0.6) and 'World of Dance' (0.4) were both in repeat mode but the 'AGT' encore still ended up registering as the night's highest-rated program. CBS wasn't far off from the peacock network with 'NCIS' (0.4), 'FBI' (0.4), and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.4) encores. Fox was a tiny bit behind them with repeats of 'Hell's Kitchen' (0.3) and '24 Hours to Hell and Back' (0.3). The CW's 'Stargirl' (0.2) held even and led into 'Tom Papa: Freaked Out' (0.1).

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary ratings.
