Preliminary Analysis: No mercy was spared for the few originals of the night on a bleak Tuesday evening. NBC's 'World of Dance' (0.5) lost two-tenths and plummeted to a new series low as its 'AGT' lead-in (0.7) went into repeat mode. And despite being an encore presentation, 'America's Got Talent' was still head-and-shoulders above the feeble numbers the other major networks garnered.
On ABC, 'What Would You Do?' (0.3) shed a tenth after two weeks of pulling a 0.4 rating. But the Quiñones program had very little lead-in support from a pair of 'Modern Family' (0.4/0.3) and 'United We Fall' (0.3/0.3) repeats. And after nine weeks of ratings in the 0.2-0.3 range, The CW's 'Stargirl' (0.1) lost a tenth and fell to a new low-point. It led into a Bryan Callen comedy special (0.1).
Of the networks with no originals, CBS's drama trio (0.4/0.4/0.3) bested Fox's 'Hell's Kitchen' (0.3) and 'Prodigal Son' (0.2) duo.
Finals Update: DC's Stargirl (+0.1) adjusted up.
