Sunday TV Ratings 7/5/20: NASCAR Leads, 60 Minutes Plunges (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: The big four networks remained mostly in repeat mode for the final day of the 4th of July weekend. NBC's 'NASCAR' broadcast (0.7) was the night's highest-rated program, beating out usual timeslot occupant 'Hollywood Game Night' by several tenths. It led into an 'America's Got Talent' encore (0.3) at 10.

CBS's '60 Minutes' (0.4) had an ugly showing for a 7pm original but an 8pm repeat (0.4) managed that same number. The network closed things off with 'NCIS LA' and 'NCIS NO' encores (0.3/0.3). ABC got a nice result out of a 7pm 'AFV' repeat (0.5), the Alfonso Ribeiro-hosted series led into repeats of 'Celebrity Family Feud', 'Press Your Luck', and 'Match Game' (0.4/0.4/0.4). Fox's comedy repeats managed 0.2s across the board from 7pm to 9pm. A 9:30 'Family Guy' encore (0.3) performed slightly higher. The CW had 'Stargirl' (0.1) and 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' (0.1) repeats.

Finals Update: NASCAR Indianapolis (-0.1) adjusted down.
