Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Canceled by Netflix

After two seasons, Sabrina’s Chilling adventures are coming to an end on Netflix. Popular Riverdale sister series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been canceled today, and it will conclude in late 2020 with a final eight episodes. Originally developed at The CW, the series soon moved to Netflix, where Riverdale was immensely popular. Critically well-received and seemingly popular, the show was quickly renewed for a second season, even before part two of season one was released. Part one of season two was released in January 2020. The series will consist of thirty-six episodes when it wraps this year. This move comes as Netflix continues to push for more owned content; Sabrina was a Warner Brothers production from Greg Berlanti. Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch and Michelle Gomez starred in the series. This cancellation comes less than a week after fellow Riverdale-related series Katy Keene was canceled at The CW.
