Kidding Canceled by Showtime

After two seasons, Jim Carrey's TV comeback is over. The series reunited Carrey with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind director Michel Gondry, and starred Carrey as the host of a popular children's show that goes through personal tragedy and a difficult family life. The comedy-drama was critically well-received, and picked up two Golden Globes nominations for season one, but awards buzz was gone by season two after it failed to receive any Emmy attention. The show was one of the lowest-rated scripted programs on all of television with just a 0.018 average for season two (a nearly 75% drop) and only 89,000 viewers tuning in to the show on average. Alongside Carrey, the show starred Frank Langella, Judy Greer, Catherine Keener, Cole Allen, Juliet Morris and Justin Kirk. The show's run spans from September 9, 2018 until March 8, 2020, airing twenty episodes in the process. Full season two ratings can be found below.
