Holiday event series The Moodys will be back for a second season. The titular Moody family won't be celebrating another holiday after spending the entire first season celebrating Christmas, with season two instead focusing on the family's everyday lives. Debuting in early December 2019 after The Masked Singer, the show drew low ratings and horrendous retention on premiere night, dropping even lower in subsequent nights and going as low as 0.3 and averaging 0.48. Despite this, Fox saw potential in The Moodys as a holiday franchise for the network, and they'll let the show celebrate once again. Denis Leary, Elizabeth Perkins, Jay Baruchel, Chelsea Frei and Francois Arnaud star.
