Thursday TV Ratings 7/9/20: Burden of Truth and In the Dark Steady for Finales, Holey Moley Down After Week Off, Blindspot Ties Low

Preliminary Analysis: Back from a one-week break, ABC's 'Holey Moley' (0.6) lost a tenth and simultaneously fell to a new season low. But 'Don't' (0.7) and 'To Tell the Truth' (0.6) held steady from there, with 'Don't' actually topping the night altogether. NBC had much less success with back-to-back episodes of 'Blindspot' (0.3/0.2). The Jaimie Alexander drama matched its series low in the second-half and will wrap up with a 1-hour series finale on July 23rd. An 'SVU' repeat (0.2) after 'Bindspot' didn't manage to rise from its lead-in like it usually does. Fox had rotten luck with 'Celebrity Watch Party' (0.3) as it lost a tenth but 'Labor of Love' (0.2) clung to the same feeble number it posted for its last original. CBS's mismatch of comedy and drama repeats (0.5/0.3/0.4/0.4/0.3) was actually on-par or stronger than many of the non-ABC originals. On season finale night, The CW's 'Burden of Truth' (0.1) and 'In the Dark' (0.1) were both steady with the same rating they have posted all season long.

Final numbers to come.
