United We Fall: Despite a solid enough start last night (0.6/0.5), there's still no chance that ABC brings United We Fall back for a second season. ABC has made it clear that they don't care much about this show, pushing it to summer despite seeming compatibility with The Conners. Even with the COVID-19 pandemic making it all but a certainty that filming in hotspot California will be heavily delayed, thus pushing back premiere dates for the wide majority of ABC's shows, they decided to throw it to summer instead of holding it off. This means that they let the show's cast options expire in June (when cast contracts expire for nearly all broadcast shows). They never cared how this show rated once it aired, they already made up their minds to cancel it. It's unfortunate that it never had a chance, but that's just reality, and it's a CERTAIN CANCELLATION.
Game On!: Also last night, Game On! shifted to 9 o'clock, airing for the first time behind Tough As Nails. Tough As Nails didn't do too hot last night either, but Game On! is on another level, dropping to a 0.3, a tenth below its previous high. I always considered this as an option, since it didn't seem to have a very dedicated audience to begin with. This reassures me that the show will be canceled, and it's being downgraded to a LIKELY CANCELLATION. It has just one episode left, and if it sticks at 0.3, my prediction for it will likely stick, too.
