Love Island: After a weak performance in season one, CBS still renewed Love Island. The show seems to be a personal favorite of the network, potentially because it brings a different, younger audience to the network. It certainly isn't still alive because of high ratings, because 0.47 season average in season one wouldn't even be strong this year, let alone a year ago. It returned a bit below that, with a 0.38 average so far. However, I'm not counting it out, not by a long shot. As I said, the show wasn't renewed for ratings reasons, and it's not doing comparatively worse this season than it was last season. CBS was so persistent to get the show back on the air that they moved ahead with a show called Love Island even when they couldn't film it on an island (it instead films on the exotic island of Las Vegas). Clearly, there's a financial gain for CBS with this show, and they won't just throw that out. It LEANS RENEWAL.

United We Fall: The ABC sitcom wrapped up its first and only season this week. The show was a steady, decent performer for ABC, but it was never more than a burnoff for ABC. With contracts expired and the show only doing okay, expect an official cancellation any moment now. It's a CERTAIN CANCELLATION
