Saturday TV Ratings 8/22/20: Lakers and Trail Blazers NBA Playoff Game Dominates, NHL Modest (UPDATED)

Despite Saturday ratings typically being lower, ABC managed to have one of the top programs of the week with last night's NBA Playoff game featuring the Lakers and Trail Blazers. Though the game was a notch below primetime games that aired on TNT and ESPN this week, it was easily last night's top show with a 0.9. A 0.5 in the first half-hour weighed it down, as it grew to a 1.1 by the end of the night.

The other networks were left completely in the dust.

NBC had an NHL game featuring the Stars and Avalanche, which drew little interest with a 0.3. This is steady with last week's result for a Golden Knights and Blackhawks game.

CBS had a repeat of Magnum PI at 0.2, with two 48 Hours encores at 0.3.

Fox took last place for the night with PBC Boxing, drawing weak 0.1/0.2 hourly averages.
