Thursday TV Ratings 8/13/20: Don’t Steady for Finale, Big Brother Down for First Eviction (UPDATED)

It was finale night for a third of ABC's game show lineup, as the lowest-rated show, Don't, exited stage left. Once again, Don't was something of a drag on the lineup and drew a steady 0.5, compared to a 0.6 for lead-in Holey Moley (which rose from last week) and To Tell the Truth (which was steady). Only time will tell if Don't will get another season, but this performance isn't too far off of what Holey Moley did last season, and that show was still renewed.

Big Brother had its first Thursday episode of the season and was down a tenth from Wednesday, but still easily the top show of the night with a 1.0, a huge upgrade from last week's repeats in the 8 PM slot. Repeats filled out the rest of the night at 0.4/0.3/0.3.

NBC had a COVID special centered on education that drew a low 0.4, followed by 0.3s for repeats.

MLB on Fox chugged along with a mediocre 0.4.

The CW said goodbye to Killer Camp, which had another 0.1 for its finale. A 0.1 Penn & Teller repeat followed.
