Coverage of the convention was on the rise on NBC, up a tenth from yesterday's preliminary number to a 0.4, topping the big three networks' coverage. Earlier in the night, America's Got Talent was down a tenth both from last Wednesday's number and this Tuesday's result, continuing its mid-season downward slide. A repeat of Ellen's Game of Games at 9 was at 0.4.
CBS again had the top show of the night as Big Brother attracted yet another 1.0. Though this isn't too massive based on the show's prior ratings history, it's extremely impressive when you compare it to America's Got Talent and the rest of the low-rated summer TV lineup. Speaking of low-rated, Tough as Nails dropped a tenth at 9 to a 0.4, tying its low. The Democratic National Convention was up from Tuesday's preliminary number to a 0.3.
ABC had another steady 0.5 for United We Fall, followed by 0.3s for comedy repeats. The Democratic Convention was steady with Tuesday's airing at 0.3.
The CW continued with 0.1s, this time for The 100 and Coroner. Once again, Coroner gained on The 100 in total viewership.
Fox had a two-hour MasterChef encore at 0.4.
Finals Update: The Democratic National Convention coverage on NBC (+0.1) and ABC (+0.1) adjusted up.
