Saturday TV Ratings 7/3/21: Superstar Racing Experience Ticks Down, Lower MLB Coverage Leads the Night (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: Nielsen ratings were clearly impacted by the Fourth of July weekend, with not a single broadcast crossing the 2 million viewers threshold. Fox took the lead on this dismal evening with its 'MLB Regional Coverage' (0.3), despite 'MLB' being down two-tenths from last week (0.48). NBC offered up an encore of 'America's Got Talent' (0.2) and a low-rated 'Dateline' original (0.2). ABC was close behind the peacock network with repeats of 'AFV' (0.2) and 'Shark Tank' (0.2) but lost steam at 10 because of an abysmal 'Good Doctor' rerun (0.1). CBS's 'Superstar Racing Experience' (0.1) shed a tenth and led into a '48 Hours' repeat (0.1), placing the network in dead-last.

Finals Update: Superstar Racing Experience (+0.1), MLB (+0.1), and the repeat of America's Got Talent (+0.1) adjusted up.
