Sunday TV Ratings 7/11/21: NBA Finals and Big Brother Slip, Wellington Paranormal Has Invisible Premiere, Love Island Stable (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: The NBA Finals (1.8) suffered a noticeable dip for game 3, down four-tenths from the last broadcast and two-tenths from game one. Despite that, it outpaced the preliminary rating of 2020's third game (1.5) by three-tenths. ABC's night began with 'Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night' (0.9) and 'NBA Countdown' (1.0), with 'Kimmel' losing three-tenths and 'Countdown' dropping by one. CBS's 'Big Brother' (0.8) made its Sunday debut in solid shape but was still two-tenths behind its Wednesday start. 'Love Island' posted its third-straight 0.3 rating at 10. At 7, '60 Minutes' (0.5) rose by two-tenths from last week. The series premiere of 'Wellington Paranormal' (0.0/0.0) bombed out the gate on the CW, failing to register in the 18-49 demographic. 'Legends of Tomorrow' (0.1) held even in the 8pm slot. NBC went with reruns of 'Capital One College Bowl' (0.2) and 'America's Got Talent' (0.2/0.3). Fox got 0.1s out of its 7pm cartoon reruns and 0.2s out of the rest of the lineup ('Simpsons, 'Great North', 'Bob's, 'Family Guy').

Finals Update: NBA Finals Game 3 (+1.0), Big Brother (+0.1), and repeats of HouseBroken (+0.1) and America's Got Talent (+0.1) adjusted up. Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night (-0.6) and NBA Countdown (-0.4) adjusted down.
