Saturday TV Ratings 7/10/21: The EPSYS Bomb, MLB Leads, Superstar Racing Experience Ticks Up (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: The 2021 'ESPYS' (0.2) completely tanked on ABC, merely tying week-ago repeats of 'AFV' (0.21) and 'Shark Tank' (0.20). While still a fairly average rating for Saturday night, this was far below one would expect for such a noteworthy ceremony. The only silver lining is that it's hard to imagine the 'ESPYS' falling further from here. Fox once again took the top spot as its telecast of 'MLB Regional Coverage' (0.4) ticked up from last week's preliminary rating. CBS's 'Superstar Racing Experience' (0.2) also inched up from its previous outing and was followed by a '48 Hours' rerun (0.2). NBC had a satisfactory evening, opting for reruns of 'America's Got Talent' (0.3) and 'Dateline' (0.3).
