The $100,000 Pyramid: Returning a bit early this year after skipping 2020, Pyramid looked notably weaker upon its return than it did when it last aired in 2019. That 0.4 on premiere night (which tied its prior low) was extremely worrying for a show that has a tendency to slip as the season goes along. However, it bucked that trend this season with some extreme stability over the course of the season, with ratings ranging from high 0.4s to 0.5s throughout its run. Even last night, against the Olympics, it maintained that 0.4, which is better than The Chase did vs the Olympics despite a better lead-in. It's pretty clear that Pyramid, while not a massive hit, is a pretty useful utility player and it unlikely to go anywhere this time around. It's a CERTAIN RENEWAL.

Dead Pixels: With so much going on last week, I didn't have the space to write about the return of Dead Pixels on The CW. That turned out being a good thing, as its performance got even more noticeably awful this week. It dropped 33% from its premiere. That's a drop of only a single hundredth, from 0.03 to 0.02, but when you've barely got any hundredths to begin with, you certainly can't afford to lose any. It's hard to think of any lineup that's been as weak for The CW as this currently Sunday lineup is, and Dead Pixels is a huge part of that problem. With it not yet being renewed in its native United Kingdom, it LEANS CANCELLATION.

Wellington Paranormal: I've said just about everything there is to say about this show right above. It's in almost the same position as Dead Pixels, being an abysmal performer for The CW, weaker than just about anything else they've ever aired. They've been known to decide against bringing back these cheap   summer filler shows in the past, even when there's episodes available to air that they haven't already aired (remember Taskmaster? You probably don't!). I don't think 0.02 is something they're dying to get more of. It LEANS CANCELLATION.

What do you think of my predictions? What are your predictions? Let me know in the comments and vote in the poll of the week!
