Friday TV Ratings 7/2/21: Weaker Stanley Cup Leads, SmackDown Slips, Emergency Call Ends Down (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: NBC's telecast of game 3 of the 'Stanley Cup Finals' (0.5) was just strong enough to surpass all programs on the other networks. In a close second, Fox's 'WWE Smackdown' (0.4) lost a tenth from last week's installment. 'Emergency Call' (0.3) inched down for its season (series?) finale on ABC and led into an encore of '20/20' (0.3). CBS got the same rating all night long from a rerun of 'Magnum PI' (0.2) and a double-pump of 'Blue Bloods' (0.2/0.2). The CW failed to even register in the Nielsen system, with an original 'Dynasty' (0.0) losing a tenth and tying its 'Charmed' repeat lead-in (0.0).

Finals Update: Stanley Cup Game 3 (+0.2), WWE SmackDown (+0.1), Emergency Call (+0.1), and the repeat of 20/20 (+0.1) adjusted up.
