Friday TV Ratings 5/28/21: NBA Easily Leads, SmackDown and The Blacklist Tick Down (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: ABC's broadcast of the 'Nets v. Celtics' NBA game (0.6) topped the night and was a hair above the typical edition of 'Shark Tank'. But, the 8pm 'NBA Countdown' special (0.3) was narrowly outdone by Fox's 'WWE Smackdown' (0.4, -0.1). Over on NBC, 'The Blacklist' (0.3) lost five hundredths from last week, with 'Dateline' (0.4) even in the 9pm slot. An encore of the week-ago 'Dick Van Dyke Show' special (0.2) posted an abysmal number on CBS. Encores of 'Magnum PI' (0.2) and 'Blue Bloods' (0.2) were unable to improve from there. The CW had a full night of 0.0s with a rerun of 'Charmed' and a steady 'Dynasty' original.

Finals Update: ABC's NBA game (0.9, +0.3), 'WWE Smackdown' (0.5, +0.1), 'The Blacklist' (0.4, +0.1), 'Dick Van Dyke' (0.3, +0.1), a repeat of 'Magnum PI' (0.3, +0.1), and 'Dynasty' (0.1, +0.1) adjusted up.
