SEAL Team Canceled by CBS, Moving to Paramount+

SEAL Team has gone on its last mission on CBS, as the network has canceled the military drama after four seasons. However, it will live on as a Paramount+ original series. The show ranked as one of the lowest-rated series on CBS this season, averaging 0.49 in the 18-49 demo. It was a stronger player in delayed and streaming viewing, which allowed it to move exclusively to streaming for season five. The first sign of trouble for the show came when it was left out of CBS's early renewals in April, after which star David Boreanaz asked for CBS to renew the show. Alongside Boreanaz, the show starred Max Thieriot, Toni Trucks, Jessica Paré, Neil Brown Jr. and A.J. Buckley. The show is expected to air the beginning episodes of its fifth season on CBS as a sendoff, before it is shipped to Paramount+ permanently.
