TBS:
The Misery Index: It's one of the strongest shows on TBS despite likely being one of the cheapest. Featuring the stars of Impractical Jokers, The Misery Index averaged 0.21 in season three's first half, a solid rating that exceeds promising new shows like Chad and isn't too far behind Wipeout. TBS seems to like the show, given how frequently it airs and how long its seasons are, and with Warner signing a talent deal with the cast just a few months ago, I have no doubt that this show will return. It's a CERTAIN RENEWAL.
Go-Big Show: Its ratings may not have held at the high point it premiered at, but Go-Big Show's respectable 0.23 average seems like more than enough to secure another season, even if it does seem more expensive than other TBS reality series. The lack of a renewal two months after its finale gives me some pause, but LIKELY RENEWAL feels like a fair assessment for it at this point.
Chad and Wipeout: These new entries were renewed before I was able to give them initial predictions. Both were looking good for renewal, but I missed out on my chance to predict them.
TruTV:
Big Trick Energy: Only three ratings are available thus far for this show, and it's been anything but steady with a 0.17-0.07-0.10 rating trajectory. However, that average is better than just about any other TruTV show, aside from breakout hit Impractical Jokers (which was is lead-in in the first two weeks), which should be enough to secure a renewal.
It's Personal with Amy Hoggart and Tirdy Works: Both shows rated reasonably well for TruTV, and I thought they'd both easily return. However, it's been nearly a year since either of them aired and there's been no news whatsoever about either returning. It's safe to say that both are a long-shot to return. They LEAN CANCELLATION.
At Home with Amy Sedaris: In the time since our last update nearly six months ago, TruTV announced the cancellation of this series. This was a correct prediction.
Comedy Central:
Crank Yankers: It's the only original show currently airing on Comedy Central aside from The Daily Show, and its ratigns are... not great. Its season premiere (the only episode this season that ratings are available for) drew just a 0.07, which is both well below the prior season's 0.16 average and a brand-new series low. Comedy Central seems to be supportive of this show given its twenty-episdoe season order, and it LEANS RENEWAL for that reason, but dont' be shocked if it's downgrade in hte next episode if the downward spiral keeps up.
