Wednesday TV Ratings 5/26/21: The $100,000 Pyramid and Press Your Luck Return with Lows, Crime Scene Kitchen Decent Behind Rising Masked Singer Finale, One Chicago Shows and SEAL Team End Steady (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: ABC struggled out the gate with the season premieres of game shows 'Press Your Luck' (0.4) and 'The $100,000 Pyramid' (0.4). Both shows hit a new series low, though 'Pyramid' was only a tiny bit behind its last episode from nearly two years ago (0.5). Although they were likely hurt by the onslaught of competition, it's hard to imagine these two will rise much higher from here. At 10, drama 'A Million Little Things' posted another 0.3 rating. On Fox, 'The Masked Singer' (1.3) rose a tenth for its finale and matched its 2021 high. While a far cry from past finales, the series remains one of the few programs on television that can still manage numbers like this. The plush lead-in was wisely used to boost the series premiere of 'Crime Scene Kitchen' (0.7), the Joel McHale series was sampled nicely but barely retained more than half of the 'Masked Singer' audience. NBC had an entire evening of finales, with 'Chicago Med' (0.8), 'Chicago Fire' (0.8), and 'Chicago PD' (0.8) all flat for their season closers. CBS's revival of 'Kids Say the Darndest Things' (0.4) picked up a tenth, but 'SEAL Team' (0.5) and 'SWAT' (0.4) failed to tick up on finale night. 'Kung Fu' (0.1) inched down on the CW as 'Nancy Drew' (0.1) held steady.

Finals Update: 'The Masked Singer' (1.4, +0.1), 'Chicago Fire' (0.9, +0.1), 'Chicago PD' (0.9, +0.1), 'Press Your Luck' (0.5, +0.1), and 'SWAT' (0.5, +0.1) adjusted up. The premiere of 'Crime Scene Kitchen' (0.6, -0.1) adjusted down.
