Transplant: It's hard to really predict the fate of a transplanted show from another country, but that's seemingly the new normal, as networks are filling their schedules with shows like this one. NBC's medical import had a pretty rough start, with about 50% retention from America's Got Talent for its premiere. With twelve episodes left, things are probably not getting better for it from here. AGT is a typically strong lead-in and even though it's down, Transplant likely won't get more support than this. I don't expect ratings to improve, and with this show feeling like a placeholder until NBC's actual shows can arrive, I don't know how much NBC really cares. It's renewed in Canada, but that doesn't mean NBC would have to air season two. For that reason, despite such a weak start, it begins as only LEANS CANCELLATION.

Love Island: Last week, I started Love Island in the LEANS RENEWAL column. I'm sticking with that this week. Everything I said last week still applies to it this week, even if dropping ratings and horrific lead-in retention gives me a bit of pause.
