Monday TV Ratings 9/7/20: American Ninja Warrior Returns Weak, Bachelor GOAT Ends Stable (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: After being off for nearly a solid year, NBC's 'American Ninja Warrior' (0.6) found its way back to the airwaves with a resounding thud. This went several tenths below its 1.0 season finale and two-tenths below its series low (0.8). The peacock network's disappointing night capped off with a 'Dateline' repeat (0.4).

Despite the unsatisfactory start for 'Ninja Warrior', it still did well enough to outperform all other programs. CBS's 'Love Island' (0.3) shed a tenth from its previous original while sandwiched between repeats of 'The Neighborhood' (0.4), 'Young Sheldon' (0.4), and 'Bull' (0.3). Fox went with the 2014 film 'Draft Day' (0.3) and got a pretty tepid result. ABC's 'Bachelor Presents' (0.2) ended steady with its pathetic series low. And the CW had a pair of 'Penn & Teller' repeats (0.1/0.1).

Finals Update: The 10 PM repeat on CBS (-0.1) adjusted down.
