Wednesday TV Ratings 9/2/20: Tough as Nails Ends Down, Big Brother Rises (UPDATED)

Preliminary Analysis: 'Big Brother' (1.0) lost a tenth from last week on CBS but remained on top of a bleak night full of repeats and retreads. The 'Tough of Nails' finale (0.4) slipped a tick alongside it and remained a poor retainer of its lead-in's audience. On NBC, a fading 'America's Got Talent' (0.6) held even with the tepid number it managed a week ago. 'AGT' led into repeats of 'Ellen's Game of Games' (0.4) and 'Chicago Med' (0.3). With 'United We Fall' wrapped up, ABC went with a full three hours of comedy repeats (0.4/0.3/0.3/0.3/0.2/0.2) but saw diminishing results as the night went on. Their results were so meager that Fox actually managed to best them for a change with a pair of 'MasterChef' repeats (0.4/0.4). The CW had a repeat of 'The 100' (0.1) and a steady 'Coroner' (0.1).
