The night was won by an American Ninja Warrior All-Star special, which drew just a 0.5, not far off the ratings for its recent repeats. A Dateline NBC episode behind it was at 0.4, giving NBC a narrow win for the night.
CBS somehow took second with repeats of The Neighborhood and Young Sheldon at 0.4. At 9, Love Island rose from Sunday's 0.2 all the way to a 0.3, continuing the romance reality show's ratings woes. It dragged the repeat at 10 down to 0.2 behind it.
Fox had a showing of the Christmas movie Love the Coopers, a pretty bizarre choice for a late-August movie night. Viewers agreed, as the movie only delivered Fox a 0.2. At least it's not any worse than last week's showing of The King's Speech.
The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons Ever returned on ABC, but they probably wish it hadn't. It drew a new low of 0.2.
The CW had a steady Whose Line? at 0.2 with a repeat also at 0.2. Penn & Teller: Fool Us dropped to 0.1.
Finals Update: Love the Coopers (+0.1) and a CBS repeat (+0.1) adjusted up. The Whose Line? repeat (-0.1) adjusted down.
