On NBC, the opening ceremony of the 'Winter Olympics' (5.9) easily demolished the competition and was the top program of the night.
The competition damaged CBS's 'Celebrity Big Brother' (1.0). The series fell four-tenths from its previous episode. It led into an encore of 'Bull' (0.4).
It also put a dent into ABC's line-up as 'Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown' (0.6) was 40% below last year's 1.0. At 9, 'Child Support' (0.4) completely collapsed in a different timeslot. Despite the weaker lead-in, '20/20' (0.6) merely lost a tenth.
FOX took the night off from originals to air a repeat of their 'Biggie & Tupac' (0.6) special.
The CW was steady across the board with 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' (0.2) and 'Jane the Virgin' (0.3).
